Happy New Year / Happy Anniversary

Wow, it's January 1, 2013!

It's a time for celebrating new hope, new life, and a bright future.

It also happens to be a milestone in my relationship with Michael: our first anniversary. So, in lieu of lots of writing, I'm going to share some highlights from our past year together, in photos. While these certainly do not cover everything of our relationship in the past year, it does bring back some amazing memories.

Since we began dating, we have both gotten new jobs, moved across the country/globe, and faced hardships in our lives. But, we have stuck by each other's side (emotionally, if not physically), and I am counting the days until we are together again. (FYI: it's 245 days)

We met at work, and I loved getting to work with him every day.

When he went to Miami to visit family, I took a week to visit him.

He bought me gigantic sunflowers on the side of the road.

We had a bowling date with our friend Cory and his girlfriend.

He met my friends at my 22nd birthday party.

We bought tickets for the biggest lottery jackpot to date.

We watched Titanic in 3D! 

He spun me around the dance floor.

We went to graduation parties together.

We always have so much fun together.

I love the way he looks at me.

We both had going away parties in the summer; he moved to Miami and I prepared to move to Korea in August.

We went on a cruise to the Bahamas!

We visited West Palm Beach.

We spent lots of time outside when I visited Miami again in July, before heading to Korea.

We visited iconic towers in Seoul and Seattle (separately) 

We spent many hours on FaceTime, and opened presents "together" at Christmas.
